Is this seal (part #311415297) the bottom (out put) seal?

Hi Kevin,

This is the seal that goes in the 1961-1977 stock Beetle steering box at the output shaft where the pitman arm connects on to. We have found this seal to fit the OE VW steering box as well as the TRW and AC Industries replacement gear boxes.
